Four ways to get a machine, and they cost very differently. Here is what each one includes, what it excludes, and who qualifies.

Buying and renting, compared

The right option is usually decided by two things: whether you want the revenue or the convenience, and whether you are a registered business.

Prices below are indicative starting points, shown both excluding and including VAT at 15%. Your final figure depends on the model, whether it is new or refurbished, the payment hardware fitted and delivery to your site.

Buy — new machine

Operators and entrepreneurs who want to own the machine and keep 100% of the revenue.

Rent — self-manage

Registered businesses that want a machine on site, stocked and run by them, keeping 100% of the revenue.

Available only to registered businesses trading for at least 12 months. Contracted and billed to the registered entity — we do not rent to private individuals or accept payment from personal accounts.

Excludes

  • Nothing you have to manage — that is the point of this model

A minimal monthly fee, with the product mix agreed with you. Suited to sites with enough footfall to keep a machine turning over.

The rest of the cost

What else you should budget for

The machine is rarely the whole number. These are the costs that surprise people, so here they are up front.

Delivery and installation

Quoted per site. Distance, access, stairs and lift availability all matter — a ground-floor loading bay and a third-floor walk-up are not the same job.

Cashless payment hardware

Priced per terminal, plus a transaction fee on card takings. Which terminal suits you depends on your machine and volume — see payment systems.

Connectivity

Cashless terminals run on their own mobile connectivity rather than your site WiFi, so there is a small monthly data cost per machine.

Stock

On purchase and self-manage rental, stock is yours to buy. On full-service rental we carry it.

Repairs outside warranty

Quoted per call. The parts warranty excludes vandalism, negligence and power surges, and labour is billed separately where applicable.

Why we quote

Why there is no single price list

A vending machine price is not one number. The same model costs differently depending on whether it is new or refurbished, what payment hardware goes in it, how far it travels, and whether it has to go up a flight of stairs.

Rather than publish a figure that is wrong for most people, we would rather you send us the site and get one that is right for you. It takes a message.

What we will not do is quote you for a bigger machine than the site needs. There is a Google review on our profile from someone we told not to spend money, because the machine they had was not compatible with what they wanted to fit. That is the same answer you will get.
