Refurbished
Second-hand vending machines for sale
A lower entry cost on a machine rebuilt to the same working standard. The warranty is 6 months rather than 12 — that, and choice of model, is the trade.
The process
What "refurbished" means here
The word gets used loosely in this industry. A machine that has been wiped down and resold is not refurbished. Ours go through four stages before we will put our warranty on them.
-
Stripped
The machine comes apart. Not wiped down — apart, so that what is worn can actually be seen.
-
Deep-cleaned
Every surface, including the parts a customer never sees and the ones that decide whether a coil jams.
-
Serviced
Worn components replaced, mechanisms adjusted, refrigeration checked and regassed where needed.
-
Tested
Run and vended repeatedly before it leaves our workshop. A machine that fails on your site fails our process too.
Worth knowing
The honest trade-off
You get a lower capital cost
Which on a first machine is often the difference between starting this year and starting next year.
A shorter warranty
6 months on parts, against 12 on a new machine. The rebuild standard is the same; the length of cover is not.
You do not get to choose freely
Refurbished stock is whatever has come back through the workshop. If you need a specific model on a specific date, buy new.
You may wait
Availability follows stock and supplier lead times. We will tell you what is genuinely available rather than take the order and hope.

Questions
Questions about refurbished machines
Is a refurbished machine as reliable as a new one?
That is the standard we work to. Each machine is fully stripped, deep-cleaned, serviced and tested to be completely functional before it leaves our workshop. The warranty period is shorter — 6 months on parts against 12 on a new machine — so what you are trading is capital cost against length of cover and choice of model.
What warranty comes with a second-hand machine?
A 6-month parts warranty, against 12 months on a new machine. Both exclude damage caused by vandalism, negligence or power surges, and labour is billed separately where applicable.
Which models are available refurbished?
It depends entirely on what has come back through the workshop. Availability follows current stock and supplier lead times rather than a catalogue, so ask us what is on the floor now.
How much cheaper is refurbished?
Enough to matter on a first machine. The exact difference depends on the model and its condition — ask us for current pricing on what is in stock.
Can I fit cashless payments to a refurbished machine?
Yes. Refurbished machines take the same card and tap hardware as new ones, and fitting it during refurbishment is cheaper than retrofitting later.
Do you buy used machines?
Talk to us — it depends on the make, model and condition. We also handle relocations and moves for machines we did not originally supply.
