Cookie policy

Short version: we use Google Analytics to count visits, and nothing else. No advertising trackers, no social pixels, no profiling.

1. What we set, and why

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site — which pages are read, which searches and links bring people here, and which pages lead to an enquiry. We use that to improve the site and to know which of our marketing actually works.

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) that hold a random identifier so that your page views count as one visit rather than several. They persist for up to two years. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store your IP address.

That is the complete list. This site runs no advertising or remarketing tags, no social-media pixels, no chat widgets that load third-party code, and we do not use analytics data for ad personalisation. We have also disabled the optional sharing of our analytics data with other Google products.

2. How to refuse it

You have real controls, and the site works identically with them on:

  • Block or delete the cookies in your browser settings — every modern browser can block cookies for a specific site, and private or incognito windows discard them when closed.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics everywhere with Google's own browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

3. What still happens

  • Standard server logs. Our hosting and content-delivery providers record ordinary connection information — IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time — to serve the site and protect it from abuse. This is not used to profile you.
  • Ordinary browser caching. Your browser stores copies of pages and images so the site loads faster next time. That is your browser's behaviour, under your control.

4. Links to other sites

Where we link out — for example to our Google Business Profile, our LinkedIn page or WhatsApp — those services set their own cookies once you are on them, under their own policies. That only happens if you follow the link.

5. If this changes

If we ever add anything else that stores data on your device, we will update this page before it goes live, not afterwards — exactly as we did when analytics was added on 3 August 2026.
