How buying works
Our sales model
Every vending machine for sale on this page comes directly from IVS — no middlemen and no grey imports. We supply a wide range of machines, customised and branded where you need it, whether you are starting out or scaling an operation you already run.
We offer both brand new and professionally refurbished machines. Our refurbishment process is thorough and uncompromising — each machine is fully stripped, deep-cleaned, serviced and rigorously tested to ensure it is completely functional and reliable before it leaves our workshop. The result is a cost-effective machine that performs to the same operational standard you would expect from new equipment.
Beyond machines, we supply vending machine parts and components, handle machine relocations and moves, and provide repairs and technical support to keep your operation running with minimal downtime. We have worked this way since 2015 — the IVS story is why we service everything we sell.
All machines sold by IVS include a parts warranty: 12 months on a new machine, 6 months on a refurbished one. Both exclude damage caused by vandalism, negligence or power surges, and labour is billed separately where applicable.
Availability depends on current stock levels and supplier lead times. We will always tell you honestly what is actually available to suit your timeline and budget rather than take an order we cannot fill.
Starting out
Buying your first machine
Most of the people who buy from us are not vending companies. They are someone building a second income, or a first business.
You do not need a company
Anyone can buy a machine. The 12-month trading requirement applies to self-manage rentals, not to purchases — buy outright and you are operating from day one.
Site first, machine second
The site decides the machine, not the other way round. Tell us where it is going and how busy it is, and we will tell you which model fits — including when the cheaper one is the right answer.
Fit cashless from the start
Card and tap remove the float, remove the cash box, and give you sales figures per product. Retrofitting later costs more than fitting it now. See payment systems.

A refurbished machine costs less up front and carries a 6-month parts warranty against 12 on a new one. What you are trading is capital cost against cover and choice — not build quality.

Buying a vending machine
Can I buy a vending machine on finance or rent to own?
Yes, through a financing partner rather than through us. They lend against the machine and you pay it off over an agreed term — five years, for example — after which it is yours. The lending decision is theirs and rests on credit record and affordability, so we cannot quote a rate or an instalment. What we can do is confirm which machine fits the site and what it costs, so your application is based on a real figure.
Can I buy a vending machine as a private individual?
Yes. Buying is open to anyone — you own the machine from day one and keep everything it takes. The 12-month trading requirement applies to self-manage rentals only, not to purchases.
New or refurbished — what is the difference?
A refurbished machine is fully stripped, deep-cleaned, serviced and tested before it leaves our workshop. New machines carry a 12-month parts warranty and refurbished machines a 6-month parts warranty. The other trade-off is availability: refurbished stock depends on what we have on the floor.

Do you deliver outside Cape Town?
Yes. We are based in Stellenbosch and work across the Western Cape as standard, and further afield by arrangement — delivery is quoted per site.
