Who we are

Innovative Vending Solutions

Innovative Vending Solutions (IVS) began in 2015 with a single bubblegum machine — a small idea that has grown into a nationwide vending partner.

Today we are a vending machine supplier specialising in the rental, sale and customisation of machines for businesses, events and public spaces across South Africa, with a strong focus on Cape Town and the Western Cape.

Whether you are looking for a fully branded machine, a healthy snack dispenser, or a custom solution for your venue, our goal is a smooth, reliable and hassle-free experience built around what you actually need.

As a proudly local company we are committed to supporting our community. We create flexible job opportunities in the areas we serve and help improve access to affordable snacks, drinks and product experiences in under-serviced locations.

How we work

Four things we hold to

The IVS installation team with their branded vehicles and a vending machine
The installation team and the vehicles that get machines to site.

We service what we sell

Installations and repairs are done by our own technicians rather than subcontracted. It is why our reviews name Earl, JJ and Kissah rather than a company.

We will talk you out of a spend

There is a review on our Google profile from someone we told not to buy, because the machine they had could not do what they wanted. We would rather lose the sale than sell the wrong thing.

Local, and staying that way

Based at the LaunchLab in Stellenbosch, working across Cape Town and the Winelands. Close enough to actually come out when a machine goes down.

Vending as an opportunity

We create flexible job opportunities in the areas we serve, and improve access to affordable snacks and drinks in under-serviced locations.

From the sites we serve

The people who use the machines

Not the people who sign the contract — the ones buying something at two in the morning.

  • The vending machine snacks gives me energy for all the late-night shifts.

  • IVS always provide us with something to eat or drink when servicing their machines.

Clients

Who we work with

Hospitals, campuses, laboratories and factories nationwide, from Cape Town to sites across South Africa — and brand campaigns anywhere in the country.

Hospitals and healthcare

Machines on public corridors and staff areas, where the site is open around the clock and the machine is often the only thing that is.

  • Tygerberg Hospital
  • Mediclinic
  • Melomed Hospitals
  • Busamed

Workplaces, science and industry

Offices, laboratories and manufacturing sites — the shift patterns are what make vending work rather than the headcount.

  • CSIR
  • NewSpace Systems
  • Ninety One
  • Biovac
  • Alnet
  • Front Line Management Services

Universities and colleges

Campuses and residences, where demand runs late and the nearest shop closed hours ago.

  • Stellenbosch University
  • Cape Audio College

Retail and brand activations

Branded and purpose-built machines for campaigns and stores — short-run activations rather than permanent sites, which is a different job entirely.

  • adidas
  • Old Khaki
  • Nike
  • Crocs
  • Jet
  • Revlon

Technology partners

AddPay and MoneyBadger supply the payment rails behind our cashless machines. They are suppliers rather than clients, which is why they are listed separately — a partner sitting in a customer list makes the whole list worth less.

Reviews

We strive for 5-star service, always

Every one of these is a real Google review, unedited. Read them all on Google — the count there is always current.

  • Their service and responsiveness is a cut above major competitors in this market.

    AnnaNella Boutique Hotel

  • What stands out most is his dedication to finding the root cause of any problem instead of applying a temporary fix. He always makes sure everything is working properly before leaving the site.

    Neil Jacobs, UrbanVend

  • I was looking for a Nayax VPOS machine but my current machine wasn't compatible. A technician came out to test everything first. They helped me avoid spending money on something that wouldn't work and they were transparent about that.

    Zamokuhle

  • JJ went above and beyond to make my purchase smooth and stress free. With on going support. When you deal with JJ it's always a win!

    Warren Bennell

  • I have dealt with IVS for 7 years - excellent track record in consistently delivering!

    Dylan Puchert

  • Solid South African-based company. Truly interested in serving the client. High technical experience with rental and sales options.

    Henk van der Merwe

  • Awesome machine received from IVS. Seamless service - really appreciate the guidance

    Michael van der Kerk

  • He's honest, straightforward, and clearly cares about looking after his customers and his team. You don't come across that kind of integrity in business as often as you'd like.

    Wian Smit

  • Very professional and efficient service from the team. A big THANK YOU to Earl and Kissah for ensuring that the machine arrived safely at our workplace.

    lindsay blythe

  • Earl & Kissah installed my vending machine yesterday and I'm so happy. They were helpful and were happy to answer all questions I had
